A body was found on Tuesday evening at the Kraaijenbergseplassen in Katwijk, near Cuijk. The fire brigade and police searched here earlier in the day for a missing woman from Nijmegen. Police suspect the missing woman.
A passerby discovered the body. No crime is suspected at this time, but an investigation is still underway.
Found car at beach
The woman’s car was found on a beach on Monday. The towels that were there are also probably hers.
A search Monday evening turned up nothing. On Tuesday, a drone was also used to search for the woman, but she was not found even then. Shortly after the search ended, a body was found by a passerby.
