On April 7, Mathieu Bodmer, Amiens midfielder, launched a superb project called “United for Évreux”. This project consisted in helping the city, where the player comes from, in order to collect as much money as possible. To do this, Bodmer had put an online fund and asked for the support of athletes, through donation. His appeal was heard because Ousmane Dembélé, Dayot Upamecano, Bernard Mendy, Brice Samba or even Samuel Grandsir had made donations and took part in the project. And with the support of many people, the player was able to raise a large sum for the city, as we learn in L’Equipe.
€ 65,194 raised
Bodmer thus collected the sum of 65,194 € via donations from athletes and the online jackpot, which is a superb sum. Associated with 37 athletes from the city ofÉvreux and the Association des Jeunes de la Madeleine, Bodmer saw his project be massively supported and a sum increased considerably day after day. It is therefore with pride that he will be able to donate the entire amount collected to hospitals. d’Évreux, Secours Populaire and various neighborhood associations such as Sleeves Retroussées, Solidarité Citoyenne or CCAS.
