Bloomberg: New, cheaper iPhones may appear in March | NOW

Apple presents according to sources of the usually well-informed Bloomberg new iPhones at the earliest in March. It would be about cheaper versions of the phones.

The new iPhones will go into production next month according to the reporting. It would be the first new, cheaper iPhone since the iPhone SE from 2016.

The phone would look like the iPhone 8. That means that the device gets a 4.7 inch screen with hefty edges on the top and bottom. The new iPhone is reportedly not receiving face recognition, but is equipped with a fingerprint scanner in the physical home button. The device is equipped with the same processor as in the iPhone 11.

Apple did not comment on it Bloomberg responded. The company still sells the iPhone 8, but it will probably disappear from the range this year. The iPhone 8 with 4.7 inch screen and 64GB of storage space currently costs 539 euros. It is not known what the new phone will cost.

Apple usually launches its new top phones in September. The iPhone 12 is expected to include 5G support, faster processors and new 3D cameras on the back.
