Joint team from Cartenz Peace Task Force and Mimika Police arrested Roy Marthen Howai, a fugitive case mutilation of four district residents Nduga in Timika, the capital of the Mimika regency, Papua. Roy Marthen Howai was arrested today.

Four civilians were killed in Mimika, Papua. In addition to being killed, the four victims were mutilated by the perpetrators.
Komnas HAM presented his latest report on the Papuan mutilation case. Komnas Commissioner HAM Beka Ulung Hapsara said there were allegations of torture and degradation of human dignity in the murder case.

Beka said there were 10 mutilating perpetrators in Papua. Six of the perpetrators were members of the TNI, while the other four were ordinary civilians.
Of the four civilians, one person is still a fugitive.
“Six of the authors were TNI members and three were civilians, so there are 10, right. Six TNI members and three civilians. One of them, Brother Roy, is still in the DPO until now,” Beka said.

Roy Marthen Howai is the author of the mutilation case in Mimika, Papua, which is still wanted by the police. Also, Komnas HAM said Roy wasn’t the lead actor.
