In the American Los Angeles at the age of 88, billionaire, philanthropist and art collector, Eli Broad, has died, reports Reuters.
It is noted that Eli Brod died on April 30 at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after a long illness.
The entrepreneur made his fortune on real estate and insurance, and helped finance the Museum of Modern Art, which opened in 2015. Broad was instrumental in the construction of the nearby Walt Disney Concert Hall as well as an art center at the University of California, Los Angeles.
