Beyoncé offers $ 6 million to deal with Coronavirus!

In this period of global crisis, Beyoncé is donating $ 6 million to help people affected by Coronavirus

Pools, donations, concerts, lives, a part of the personalities with international influence moves to help the establishments and personnel of health, associations or communities in need, during this global health crisis due to the consequences of Coronavirus. Beyonce has also put its hand to the paw by promising $ 6 million to local organizations in the USA. And in particular to the University of Los Angeles (UCLA) and the United States Mental Health Alliance (NAMI) to meet the basic needs of the cities of New York, Houston, New Orleans and Detroit.

€ 6 million in donations

In a press release, its BeyGood foundation shares its support for organizations present on the ground every day, 24 hours a day. It will notably help its partners: the United Memorial Medical Center, Bread of Life, Matthew 25 and others to meet the needs of basic necessities, food, water, masks, medicines, hygiene equipment, in the most affected areas.

Beyoncé supports on this occasion, workers affected by the crisis, people affected by the virus and especially communities of color. “Communities of color are suffering enormously from the pandemic. Many families live in underserved areas, which makes social distance more complicated. Communities that already lacked funding for education, health and housing are now facing alarming rates of infection and death. These communities lack access to testing and equitable care services, ” declares the press release from BeyGood.

A striking speech
