As studies progress, more and more discoveries are made about this unprecedented disease; it is because of that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States has alerted the population to six new symptoms of the coronavirus, in addition to fever, tiredness, dry cough and respiratory problems, which are the main symptoms of the disease.
With more than 900,000 people infected with COVID-19 throughout the American Union, the CDC has decided to update the list of symptoms, confirming the finding of these as an indicator of being a carrier of the coronavirus. Between these new symptoms are the following:
- Shaking chills
- Headache
- Repeated tremors with chill
- Muscle pain
- Sore throat
- Loss of taste or smell
Uncommon symptoms of coronavirus
Although the list of symptoms has been updated, there are several patients with coronavirus who report having suffered from other not so common symptoms, such as nausea, diarrhea, runny nose, red eyes, fatigue and even skin lesions, mainly on the toes; this as an autoimmune reaction of the body when fighting against the virus.

So far – April 26 – The American Union has 985,535 confirmed cases of coronaviruses, of which, unfortunately, 55,365 have resulted in deaths. Among the most affected states in the entire USA due to the Covid-19 outbreak, is New York with 293,991 infected people, followed by New Jersey with 109,038 and Massachusetts with 54,938.
