Within the framework of the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy’s plan to save energy and eliminate attempts to steal electrical current that lead to pressure on the electricity system, the Ministry defined cases in which electricity distribution companies are entitled to withdraw the meter from the subscriber and cut off the electricity supply to him.
We publish to you the cases in which the meter is withdrawn and the electrical disconnected as follows:
Accumulation of electricity bills for a period of not less than 3 months.
– In the event that the subscriber fails to pay the bills after sending him two warnings to cut off the electricity.
– In the event of repeated reports of the thefts of electric current to deliver power to the same or to others from a common meter.
– If the subscriber intends to disable the meter in order to manipulate the value of the consumption bill.
