The 25-year-old wants to get off at the next stop. The moment she stands at the door, the attacker pushes her onto the platform. Then he goes behind, there is a scramble.
The woman again begs for help: “Can you help me please, please. I’ll be beaten up, please. ”
While witnesses then apparently take care of them, the attacker takes the steps up the stairs – away from the platform.
► According to the federal police and Berlin police, the attack occurred in an S75 city center. Accordingly, the man had previously had a verbal argument with other travelers, as the police said on Wednesday. The young woman therefore tried to calm the situation – and became a victim herself.

Immediately initiated search measures by emergency services of the Federal Police and Berlin Police were initially unsuccessful. The federal police initiated an investigation into assault against the initially unknown perpetrator. At the scene of the crime, the officers secured the video and interviewed other travelers about the incident.
Rescue workers took care of the 25-year-old, who complained of pain and was visibly influenced by what she had experienced. According to the police, she refused to take her to the hospital.
Through further investigations and with the help of testimony, the Federal Police, in cooperation with the Berlin police, succeeded in identifying the suspect on Tuesday and finding his whereabouts.
After completing all the measures, the Berlin public prosecutor ordered the 22-year-old Gambier, who is known to the police, to be released. The investigation is ongoing.
