“Bergen Artist Films Harassment of Rape Accused: Controversial Kamelen Stands by Actions”

FUCK THE POLICE: Kamelen was acquitted last year of having said “Fuck the police” during a concert. He broke through with the song “Si ingetting”, a showdown with the police.

The artist Marcus Kabelo Møll Mosele has posted a video on social media where he harasses and names a rape accused. Mosele is responsible for the release.

Published:

In the video, Mosele, who goes by the stage name Kamelen, is seen pursuing and confronting the man accused of rape inside a kiosk in Bergen.

The artist, who is himself convicted of violence, has posted the video on social media. On Sunday evening, the video is still out on his profile.

The video first shows a woman trying to stop Mosele, but the artist continues to pursue the man, harassing and laughing mockingly.

At the same time, the accused man tries to run away from the artist.

LAUGHING AND GRINNING: The artist Marcus Kabelo Møll Mosele laughs and grins as he goes after the man accused of rape.

Several people inside the kiosk witness the scene in the video, where the artist names the accused both verbally and in text.

On Saturday evening, Bergens Tidende published the article “Bergen artist reported to the police after hanging rape charges on social media”.

Mosele was not identified here.

On Sunday, the artist posted a screenshot of this article with three laughing emojis:

– Stands for what he has done

VG has tried to get in touch with Mosele, but he has not answered our inquiries on Sunday evening.

Manager Leo Ajkic first answered our telephone inquiry by sending a text message asking VG to send a text message.

Ajkic has not responded to text messages or phone inquiries since then.

Mosele’s lawyer, Jørgen Riple, informs VG on Sunday evening that Mosele has been informed that he is being identified in connection with the hanging case.

– He stands for what he has done, says Riple to VG.

– What he has explained is that he believes that many of these boys have treated young girls in a bad way. And that is the reason why he has posted such things on social media, adds Riple Bergens Tidende.

SAYING NOTHING: Neither Leo Ajkic (left) nor Marcus Kabelo Møll Mosele have answered VG’s inquiries about this matter.

Serious rape case

The hanging video has been posted in connection with the fact that five men in their 20s are currently appearing in Hordaland District Court on charges of a total of three rape cases.

The ongoing trial against the five men has already received a lot of attention.

The trial has been paused twice because the names of the accused men and offended women have been shared publicly.

The man whom the artist confronts is not accused of gang rape, but of sexual intercourse with a minor and sleep rape of a woman in her 20s. He denies criminal guilt for both matters.

BERGEN COURTHOUSE: The rape case is in Bergen Courthouse.

Gap stick

The defendant’s lawyer reacts strongly to the artist’s performance. She says that the relationship has been reported.

– I think this is completely unacceptable. My client has been stalked and filmed on social media, lawyer Ellen Eikeseth Mjøs told VG.

– My client takes this very seriously. This is going to be a complete mess. We have reported the artist for reckless behaviour, under section 266 of the Criminal Code.

Mjøs is clear that it is the legal system that must decide guilt and innocence in criminal cases. This is harmful for the whole case and all those involved, Mjøs believes.

– That legal system must be allowed to work. It doesn’t when it’s supposed to be this way.

STAND FOR IT: Kamelen stands for the hanging, according to its lawyer Jørgen Riple.

Controversial

There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the Camel in recent years.

He has previously been in trouble with the police, and has previously been convicted of violence. He got a lot of attention when he was on the run for two years.

In 2021, he was acquitted of shouting “fuck the police” at a concert in Kristiansand.
