Ben Affleck will put on the Batman cape once again to play the masked superhero in the film about the character of The Flash that Argentine director Andy Muschietti is preparing.
Vanity Fair magazine assured this Thursday 20-A that Affleck will join Michael Keaton, another actor who played Batman in the past, to jointly give life to this superhero in a Warner Bros. film that he will try to bring to the big screen the idea of the “multiverse” of DC Comics.
In this “multiverse”, different superheroes and villains can appear in different plots, worlds and temporal realities that coexist within a large narrative framework.
This “multiverse” allowed the authors of DC Comics to play with greater flexibility when it came to fiddling with the characters, who could appear in different narrative lines and under different attributes, without losing the illusion of coherence of the whole.
Thus, in this film about The Flash, which will star Ezra Miller, different versions of Batman will appear in the skin, at least for now, of Affleck and Keaton.

For his part, Michael Keaton, whose incorporation to the film of The Flash was known last June, gave life to the hero of Gotham in the films “Batman” (1989) and “Batman Returns” (1992) by Tim Burton.
