Belarusian partisans: two men accused of trying to burn Russian military equipment

The security forces confiscated Molotov cocktails from the detained Belarusians.

On Thursday, March 10, the Investigative Committee of Belarus announced the arrest of two residents of the city of Mozyr, suspected of preparing the destruction of Russian military equipment located on the territory of this country.

How reported in the official Telegram channel, the detainees met in 2020 at protests against Lukashenka in Mazyr.

Both have families and raise children. They are currently accused of preparing an “act of terrorism”.

According to investigators, two men aged 34 and 44 planned to destroy military equipment of the Russian Federation as it moved through the Mozyr district. To do this, they prepared Molotov cocktails.

They are also accused of other planned actions.

Recall, on the evening of Thursday, March 10, residents of the Belarusian town of Luninets, not far from the border with Ukraine, witnessed the fall of an aircraft that crashed into the ground, exploded and caught fire. According to preliminary information, on the territory of Belarus fell Russian military aircraft shot down over Ukraine.
