But the couple, four months later, received the news that the disease was terminal.

“We wanted to make sure that our son had a brother and we hoped that my husband would have more time with our second son,” the woman added.

On April, Haley became pregnant using a frozen embryo that the couple had stored after undergoing in-vitro fertilization (IVF) for their first child as well.

But on November 28, the man was hospitalized in an emergency and on December 1, the couple received the news that John had only a few days to live. The delivery was scheduled three weeks later.

The couple decided to induce the brown and the doctors agreed to the request. “I kissed my sweet husband goodbye and told him to be strong and to hold on to me and the baby; he said he would, ”the woman said.

Staff began induction, but labor was not achieved.

On Thursday, December 2, around 8 a.m., Haley was informed by doctors that her husband’s health was deteriorating rapidly.

The doctors told her that if she wanted her husband to meet her child, the delivery would have to be by cesarean section.

“Without hesitation I said ‘let’s go’ and we did,” the woman wrote.

“In a matter of literally a minute, I was in the operating room, and just 20 minutes later, our son was born,” he said.

The nurses gave her baby, she kissed him and took the child to the area where his father was.

“Jb’s vitals instantly improved. He also recognized that our son was there doing little nods and sweet moans, ”Parke said.

“He breathed for the last time with our son on his chest and my hand in his,” he said.

“Delivering a baby 3 weeks early can come with a lot of complications that may require NICU time and respiratory support. God prepared our son for this precise moment because he came out weighing 7 pounds 4 ounces with 20 lungs long, with fully developed lungs that let out the sweetest of cries, ”the woman wrote on Facebook.
