The Metropolitan Police of Barranquilla is on the trail of a robber known by the alias of Makuto, who is accused of attacking bites to his victims, as evidenced by the last case where He pounced on a 62-year-old man and ripped half an orea out of him.
This last case was registered at the beginning of the week in the El Valle neighborhood, in the southwest of this town, during a struggle to snatch a bicycle from their target.

According to the version provided by the victim, identified as Armando Obeso Cassiani, a resident of the El Bosque neighborhood, the case occurred in the morning when he was traveling on his bicycle to the workplace.
He assures that this bicycle is his means of transport, in which he not only uses it to go to and from work, for what Barranquilla crosses from south to north, but for health reasons.

Obeso remembers that as usual, he took the route that takes him to the El Valle neighborhood and it was when just at the corner of Calle 68 and Carrera 16, Alías Makuto suddenly appeared to rob him.
He says that since he had nothing, the criminal tried to take the bicycle from him, and that was when the struggle between the two men began.
It was when Makuto alias pounced on Obeso and with a strong bite tore off his ear, that he spat it on the floor and fled when noticing the presence of some inhabitants of the sector, who managed to identify it.
The injured man was immediately taken to a clinic in the city where he underwent reconstructive surgery. One of the witnesses managed to pick up the piece of ear that had been left on the floor and take it to the clinic for surgeons to try to reconstruct it.
The police assured that they have already identified Makuto and hope that in a matter of hours they can capture him.
