In three hours time, the 13 kilometers passed by Acajou, Bois d’Inde, Mahault, the city center, Bas-Mission, Petit-Manoir and Place d’Armes were easily swallowed up with a final arrival on Antonio Maceo square opposite the town hall.
The few showers did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm and the good-natured spirit that animated the 2,000 or so people who pounded the asphalt.
