Back from Marseille with narcotics, the dealer checked by customs officers

A customs check on the Loisy area of ​​a bus which provided the Marseille to Saarbrücken link, made it possible to arrest an individual who was transporting drugs.


A return trip to the south to buy narcotics and return to Lorraine. To pick up the goods, the respondent did not choose the “go fast” method, but rather booked his return trip on a Flix-bus line. An approach as cheeky as it is daring. On the way which brought it closer to its final destination on the A31, the bus providing the Marseille-Saarbrücken link stopped at the Loisy rest area during which the customs officers carried out a check which allowed to discover in the belongings of a traveler: “440g cannabis resin, 4g resin, 130 euros and a phone“, according to the police.

The respondent, in his twenties, living in a small Moselle village, was taken to the Nancy police station to explain himself. Placed in police custody, he was heard by investigators from the narcotics squad and admitted to having been involved in drug trafficking in Dieuze (Moselle) for a month, initiated by one of his acquaintances who had, as for she started a year ago. This other protagonist designated as the sponsor was arrested at his companion’s house. A search of his accommodation led to the discovery of 280 euros and 20 g of cannabis resin. He would have asked the dealer to search for this Marseille merchandise for a little over a thousand euros.

The buyer of the narcotics, under judicial control, was however prohibited from going to the Marseille city and was to be placed soon under an electronic bracelet, indicates a police source.

The alleged defendants were presented Wednesday afternoon before the Nancy court. They were sentenced to 15 months in prison, including a 6-month suspended sentence for the dealer and a 12-month suspended sentence for the alleged sponsor, who was however little known to the police.
