BA provides information on government aid measures

The Federal Association of Machine Entrepreneurs (BA) invited the members of its BA regional and professional associations to a digital information round on the subject of bridging aids.

For this purpose, the BA was able to win over the two experts Erich Nagl and Dietrich Loll. Nagl is a member of the board of directors of ETL ADHOGA Steuerberatungsgesellschaft GmbH and Loll is a lawyer and tax advisor at ETL Rechtsanwälte GmbH Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft. The BA managing director Simone Storch moderated the BA special, where association members had the opportunity to ask questions.

“Voluntary” closures

At the beginning, Nagl provided an outline of the history of the previous relief measures in the corona pandemic, from the initial liquidity aid to the currently applicable bridging aid III Plus to bridging aid IV, which is expected to come into force from January 2022. He showed differences and explained funding requirements . Two topics stood out. On the one hand, the change in the so-called voluntary closings and the disclosure requirements with regard to the decline in sales by at least 30 percent compared to the same month in 2019.

The prerequisites for the “voluntary” closings in particular had only recently changed. Now it is said: If companies voluntarily close due to inefficiency as a result of Corona rules in the period from November 1 to December 31, 2021, the bridging aid III Plus also applies. According to Nagl, the prerequisites for this are official orders such as 2G, 2Gplus and curfew, such as in Bavaria.

Association members can register in Members area of the BA download the slides of the speakers.

You can read a detailed report in our January issue.
