A violent robbery was committed at the Orange store located avenue François Cornesse in Aywaille.

On Wednesday, January 8, around 5:00 p.m., two individuals entered the “Orange” store in Aywaille, avenue François Cornesse.
They then asked the employee present at the time for the case and the phones. They arrived when the employees were storing the phones and cash in the safe.
According to our information, one of them struck the employee’s head. The latter would be injured.
They took away several valuable phones and some cash. They then fled through the small streets where a third person was waiting for them to get out of the car.
Secova area police confirmed that a violent robbery took place at the Orange Shop in Aywaille.
Also in Waremme
The same scene also occurred this Wednesday at Waremme, a few hours earlier. Around 12:10 p.m., two individuals entered the Orange Shop located on avenue Reine Astrid in Waremme.
One of them walked behind the counter and grabbed the employee by the neck. He tried to steal his phone before ripping off his connected watch. They then tied her up with an electric cable and locked her in the storeroom.
Haspengouw police visited the scene. The two individuals fled the store without taking anything.
An investigation has been opened. They were notably filmed by surveillance cameras.
For both cases, it is the same modus operandi. The link between the two cases has not yet been officially established.
