products Avon made the donation delivery of the Avon Program Promise Against Breast Cancer in Guatemala, where it has been delivered more than Q12 million to the cause.
The money son obtained from the sale of Rosa Products in the Avon brochures and for the proceeds of the Avon Walk Race.
During the month of August 2020 Avon performed the announcement of this program at all Guatemalan institutions to present their Projects focused on pillars:
- Promotion of investigation in relation to breast cancer.
- Empowerment of women for decision-making focused on timely detection of breast cancer.
- Strengthening of the care systemsn in the health centers caring for breast cancer patients.
- Support for the comprehensive care for women diagnosed with breast cancer.
The Projects of the benefited institutions of the program were evaluated by a group of expert professionals on this issue.

- “Detection of Germ Pathogenic variants for Cancer Syndrome Hereditary Breast“, in favor of INVEGE for Q186,202.84.
- “Radiation therapy treatment intended for patients with Breast cancer located in the Republic of Guatemala, including in ages 30 to 60 years – Phase III ”, in favor of Fundecan for Q105,181.74
- “Rehabilitation of patients affected by Lymphedema”, In favor of the Guatemalan Foundation for Lymphedema Manos Amigas Q94,281.79.
“I invite other institutions to participate in the 2021 call that begins in July of this year and thus continue helping Guatemalan women. ”
