Auto Marti Celebrates 175 Years of Success and Growth

A good reason to celebrate | July 3, 2023

The year is 1848. Jakob Rudolf Marti runs a blacksmith shop with his sons Karl, Ernst and Rudolf, laying the foundation for the Auto Marti company.

175 years and five generations later, Auto Marti has around 111 employees at three locations in the Bern, Muri and Thun region (Bernese Oberland) and is still actively responsible for the mobility of the Bernese. With constant growth, Auto Marti has established itself positively in the Swiss car market (brands BMW and MINI) and as an exciting employer with a long history. In 2022, Auto Marti AG was integrated into the Austrian Pappas Holding GmbH.

It doesn’t work without a motivated team – that’s a matter of course for Auto Marti, as the company writes in a press release.

On July 1st, the Auto Marti team celebrated the anniversary together with all employees and their partners with a delicious summer BBQ. In a relaxed and fun atmosphere, the success of the past and future years was toasted. A team challenge in the human kicker was a must before the delicious dinner.

With this in mind: full speed ahead until the next anniversary!
