Audience at Naiv Concert in Moscow Chants Anti-War Slogan

The concert took place on Saturday, April 15, in the capital’s club “1930 Moscow” on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the founding of the group. Soloist Alexander Ivashov performed in a T-shirt with the inscription “Masha Moskaleva”. This is a reference to a notorious repressive case that has been dragging on since April 2022: a Russian court sent a girl to an orphanage for anti-war drawingand threw her single father behind bars.

During the speech, Ivashov urged his fans to pay attention to this case of Masha Moskaleva, which, as he noted, “does not let him go.” The artist did not say a word about Putin’s “special operation”, however, in response, the hall in unison began to chant: “Fuck the war!”

This is further evidence that anti-war sentiment in Russia is alive. And they are intensifying due to the fact that Russia is defeated in this conflict and suffers tremendous losses: both human and economic.
