Atlanta and Miami tie in a game of few emotions

Atlanta United and Inter Miami tied at zero goals this Wednesday at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta during a game that offered few emotions, especially during the first half.

The rivals showed little football during the first half. Without a clear approach to the game in both cases, Atlanta had more possession although the ball stayed in the midfield most of the time.

The team of David Beckham had the clearest chance at minute 39, but Jorge Figal failed to finish off a Lewis Morgan cross inside the area and the game went to halftime tied at zero goals.

Atlanta and Miami changed the tonic of the game in the second half, became more offensive and went forward on the court in search of generating danger options, but lacked forcefulness in front of the rival goal.

The game ended goalless and with just one point for each of the teams.

Rodolfo Pizarro was a key element for Miami, but failed to make a difference in front of goal to overtake Diego Alonso’s team.

The Mexican Jurgen Damm entered as a change with Atlanta, at minute 77, he generated at least a couple of chances without danger, although without specifying, and he left with a yellow card for unsportsmanlike conduct. Erick ‘Cubo’ Torres was a starter in the coach’s lineup Stephen Glass.
