A health worker (nakes) who are on duty at Kemayoran Athlete House, Jakarta died. The health worker died while receiving intensive care at the Friendship Hospital.
He had tested positive for the corona virus (Covid-19) but is already negative.
“He was at Wisma Atlet but died at the Friendship Hospital,” said the Public Relations Coordinator of the Kemayoran Athlete Hospital, Colonel Kes Mintoro Sumego when contacted CNNIndonesia.comWednesday (23/2).
Mintoro added that Tiur died at around 04.00 WIB this morning. The process of honoring and releasing the bodies was carried out at 14.00 WIB at Tower 1 of the Athlete’s House.
Tiur had been confirmed positive for Covid-19 on January 24 last. Tiur then underwent treatment in an isolation room, and was tested negative for Covid-19 about a week later. But not long after, Tiur’s condition worsened.
“On February 14, there was a shortness of breath, we continued to refer him to the Friendship Hospital,” he continued.
Condolences were also conveyed by the volunteers of the Wisma Atlet RSDC. Through uploads to the Instagram account @alumnirsdc19_official, they asked the public to join in praying for Tiur, who is a nursing graduate.
