At school spaced out, unknown masks – Politics

No plexiglass but a meter away from the students. On the masks in the classroom, however, we will have to wait for a new opinion from the Scientific Technical Committee which will arrive only two weeks from September 14, the date chosen for the resumption of lessons.

These are the main changes included in the final text of the 2020-2021 school plan, which has received the go-ahead from the government, regions and local authorities.

distancing – The text refers to the indications of the Technical Scientific Committee according to which “the physical distancing (understood as 1 meter between the pupils’ buccal rhymes), remains a point of primary importance in the prevention actions”.

MASKS – It is not yet clear whether students will have to wear them during lessons. The Technical Scientific Committee “at least 2 weeks before the beginning of the school year – reads the text – will update, in consideration of the changed epidemiological framework, its indications regarding the use of personal protective equipment”.

Distance learning – Lessons will resume in attendance except for second grade secondary schools, ie high schools, where it will be possible to provide “integrated digital teaching, where the context conditions make it a preferable option” or where “technological opportunities allow, age and skills of students. “

gatherings – To avoid overcrowding, especially when entering and leaving institutions, “deferred and staggered” arrivals are expected, while the canteen can be organized over two or more shifts. If this is not enough, the local authorities will be able to study alternative solutions such as the consumption of the meal in single portions inside the classroom.

ATTENDANCE AND LESSONS – Confirmed the attendance at different shifts and “the modular articulation of groups of pupils coming from the same or from different classes or from different course years”. On the other hand, the reference to attendance on Saturday has disappeared, replaced by a “different weekly modulation of time at school.” The school institutions – it is still read – will take care to guarantee, for each pupil, the same educational offer, without prejudice to the opportunity to adopt different organizational solutions, to carry out parallel or alternative educational or training activities to traditional teaching “.

TABLES – The Plan provides that Tables are set up in each region to monitor “the actions taken by the Conferences of the services at a territorial level and by the various actors involved in the organization of school activities, also in order to detect any critical issues not resolved by local level and support its resolution, taking particular care of the special needs arising from the need to protect pupils with disabilities “.

TRAINING – The schools will organize, individually or online, specific training activities for teaching staff and ATAs regarding the use of new technologies in relation to the various tasks and professional skills.

THE INSTITUTES – In addition to the constant and thorough sanitization of the spaces, the schools will have to “provide for the functional organization of the external and internal spaces, to avoid grouping or gatherings and to guarantee adequate entrances, exits, outflows and distances at every stage of the school day, for pupils, families, school and non-school staff “.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT – The Plan “acknowledges the need to activate a special work table coordinated by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, with the participation of the Ministry of Education” and representatives of Local Authorities to “find specific resources that may be necessary “.
