The Swedish police are asking for help. The man who was found murdered in 2021 is still unidentified and investigations are still ongoing. According to the authorities, the man’s body is missing “certain essential parts”, which makes identification difficult.

The body was found in the town of Borås, which is located west of Gothenburg. According to estimates, the body was lying in the outdoor recreation area for 2-4 weeks before it was found.

It is mostly clear to the police that the victim is a man and that he died as a victim of a homicide. The place of discovery is believed to be different from the place of the murder itself, but nothing more is known about the course of events. There has never been a suspect in the case.

– The problem is that we don’t have much to go on, because we don’t know who the killed man is. We are standing still with regard to the investigation, says the spokesman for the police in the area Caroline Karlsson For Expressen.

With the help of DNA, it has been possible to determine that the man was 40–65 years old, 166–175 cm tall and had brown hair and fair skin. Based on DNA, he was from a northern European country.

– We have been in contact with other countries regarding the missing, and researched with the help of DNA, but it has not produced results yet, says Karlsson.
