The Golden Age building has always been designed to be tall. Whether it will be with the re-certification, which is from 2012, or with another re-certification, this building will have it. This was said to BTV by arch. Plamen Miryanov from Artex on the occasion of the case with the suspension of the construction of the skyscraper by DNKS due to the expiration of a construction permit in 2020.

“Certainly there is a valid permit, everything is valid until 2022, the court ruled. By all indications, the 2 years in which we conducted the cases in court should be deducted,” the architect explained his point of view on the case. He pointed out that the company is ready to reduce the size of the building from 34 to 31 floors.

Since 2007 it is a building permit for 5 years. It was renewed in 2012. In February 2017, the amendments to the Spatial Planning Act were published. According to them, the deadline for completion of construction is 10 years from the opening of the construction site. Then we have an act, the content of which is rearranged by the new legal norm. DNSK calculates from the date of the opening of the re-certification, which is nonsense, explained the company’s lawyer Milena Gaydarska.
