Zelensky focused on the implementation of the Rapid Recovery Plan for cities and villages deoccupied from Russian troops.
The Ukrainian army liberated 1060 settlements that need to be restored. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky during an evening video message on Saturday, August 6.
“One of the most important areas for August and September is the implementation of our Fast Recovery plan. What needs to be done in the territory liberated from the enemy in order to give people the conditions for a normal life and prepare for the autumn-winter season,” the head of state said.
The Ukrainian leader informed that Estonia was the first within the Fast Recovery plan to choose objects for financing in the Zhytomyr region, which is helping with recovery.
“We are working with diplomats and companies in all other areas that need support and restoration work,” the president added.
Recall that earlier Zelensky said that Ukraine has three to six weeks for the return of the territories occupied by Russia, later it will be more difficult to do.
