Also all testing until the final product is ready to be manufactured.
Iphone 12 Pro is many areas cost more than the original price of phones like Note 20 Ultra, Sony 1ii, Find X2 Pro.
Although it is a phone in the same category as 5ii, s20 and Find X2.

Once you get past 450 PPI, you’re just wasting money and battery. Improve the color at this point, as you won’t notice a higher resolution beyond that.

– 4K screen? It would drain the battery in no time. It already has 458PPI. It is a good ideal point for a sharp image and power consumption. The iPhone 12 already has the best color reproduction for a phone screen on the market (Dolby Vision support).
– Bigger camera sensors would be nice,
– Bigger battery? That’s why they mentioned that the iPhone 13 would be “thicker” than the 12. The 12 Pro Max already has 1.5-2 days of battery life.

I remember Andrei F from Anandtech commenting that the flat edges felt like a step down from an ergonomic point of view, didn’t make the phone thinner or cut your hands a bit. If this rumor leads to something, I hope they at least have bigger batteries.

Unlike Android OEMs, Apple prioritizes financial services, their devices (not all) are just tools to develop and leverage those services.
aggressive material development has long since taken a back seat.
