Apple reportedly planning to stop production iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone XR. The plan is likely to occur after Apple officially launches the iPhone 12 in October 2020.
IPhone 11 Pro and iPhone XR discontinuation information emerged from Twitter user @iAppleTime. In addition to stopping production, it was also stated that the price of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 11 would get a discount of US $ 150 or Rp. 2.1 million (referring to the exchange rate of Rp. 14,623 per dollar).

However, the possibility of Apple killing old iPhone products is nothing new. This is because the company has often secretly stopped the old iPhone when it launched a new product.
For example, the circulation of the iPhone XS and XS Max decreased after the iPhone 11 launched. Apple usually only officially stores certain types of iPhones when third-party distributors offer other iPhone products.
Also, given that the iPhone SE (2020) launched by Apple earlier this year is much more powerful than the iPhone XR and more affordable, it would make sense for Apple to stop producing their old iPhones.
Launch BGR, Apple is expected to launch four new iPhones under the iPhone 12 series which will include two premium variants. The iPhone 12 Pro will come in 6.1-inch or 6.7-inch sizes and may feature a 120Hz ProMotion display with a high refresh rate, as seen on the iPad Pro.
The rear camera module on the device will also house four sensors with the LiDAR scanner introduced in the recently launched Apple iPad Pro. All four iPhone models are expected to feature OLED displays and 5G support, as well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously claimed.
Meanwhile, prices for some iPhone models have been discounted ahead of the arrival of the iPhone 12. The new Apple iPhone 11, iPhone XR, and iPhone SE 2020 are available at special prices this week as part of the Apple Days sale.
