Aplao police dies in Arequipa waiting for a bed in UCI Arequipa

Brigadier PNP Guillermo Ynga F. (51), who was serving in the Aplao police station (Castilla) died in the morning by COVID-19.

The agent was admitted to the Police Hospital and later referred to a tent at the Honorio Delgado Espinoza hospital. I was hoping to get a bed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Ynga had 30 years of service, belonged to a lifeguard association and was a member of the promotion of the Technical School of Noncommissioned Officers of Charcani, Colonel PNP Lino Mendoza Bedoya, better known as Chompas Negras.

After the news spread, the members of the Aplao police station raised the national flag at half-staff as a sign of mourning and grief by their coworkers.

The body of the lifeguard was buried in the Chiguata cemetery.

The policeman’s death occurred a day after the death of non-commissioned officer José L. Capa M. (52), also in the regional hospital where he expected to be treated by doctors.
