For this he will work with the daughter-in-law of media giant Rupert Murdoch. Yesterday it was also announced that the prince had a becomes a mental health expert at the start-up BetterUp.

Prince Harry hasn’t really done his best in recent months to hide his disdain from the press. In the explosive interview with Oprah Winfey, he shared that the British tabloids are bigoted and create a toxic environment of fear. His wife, Meghan Markle (39), added that press reports are reinforced by social media. “It was like the Wild West. It spread like wildfire. In America I am also presented in a completely different way in the media than in Great Britain, ”she said.

The prince clearly wants to do something about this overwhelming fake news and has therefore registered with the powerful Aspen Institute. This is a committee that deals with everything related to ‘information disorders in the media’, ie fake news. He hopes to do something against the flow of false messages and the media war between different channels that America has to deal with.

Daughter in law of Rupert Murdoch

Harry, together with fourteen commissioners and three co-chairmen, will conduct a six-month investigation into the ‘news crisis’ in America. The committee includes top journalist Katie Couric, cybersecurity expert Chris Krebs, the president of ‘Color Of Change’ Rashad Robinson and former Facebook manager Alex Stamos. The most notable name in the list of commissioners has to be Kathryn Murdoch. She is the wife of James Murdoch, the son of Rupert Murdoch. The latter is the founder, largest shareholder and CEO of News Corporation, one of the world’s largest and most influential media companies. James resigned last year as CEO of his father’s media empire.
