“The Sulzer Board of Directors has decided to initiate the process of exiting the Russian market. The sale process will begin immediately and follows Sulzer’s announcement earlier in the year that it had already significantly reduced its business activities in Russia,” the statement said.
According to the press service, the company regrets the need for this decision after decades of activity in Russia, but after carefully considering the options, they came to the conclusion that this is the best solution for all stakeholders.

The company also added that they intend to continue to support 300 employees in Russia in this process.
