About fifty people gathered this Wednesday night at the Bichicori terrace, in Mexico City, to see one of the dress rehearsals of the staging “4 seasons”, starring Anna Ciocchetti and Alberto Lomnitz.
The actors, placed at a table in the center of the place and surrounded by guests like Benny Ibarra, family and friends, saw the artists who even wore masks during the play, until suddenly, Anna got up from her chair, stood he apologized and left the place.
His partner, somewhat surprised, asked for an apology and said that at one point they continued, but since the actress did not return, another of the actresses sent an intermission.
After several minutes, the director, Carlos Corona, spoke about the difficult times that not only the actors are going through, but the theater in general, and asked for a break so that Anna could return, but shortly after, both he and the producer, Carlos Lopez, announced that the play was canceled.
“Unfortunately we are going to have to stop, our actress went into a crisis, this happens to us, we are very sorry for all of you, it has been an intense job, this is another top that the theater suddenly puts on us,” said the producer.
In an interview with EL UNIVERSAL, Carlos Corona He denied that Anna had felt unsafe because of the assistance that was in the place, and said that it was due to a forgetfulness of text.

“Not at all, I think we have been very responsible, I think it is stress, she got very nervous and forgot the text but I don’t think she felt risky, we have done the Covid test, I think it’s nerves, we are evaluating and it is not worth it if we are so nervous and the text is failing it is not worth going back ”.
Benny Ibarra He also dedicated a few words to the actress, to whom he reiterated his support and admiration.
“For me it is simply observing a human being trying to do the best he can under a complicated circumstance, a first-rate actress who was giving a show, but we are human beings, especially artists are very vulnerable, sensitive human beings, and at the end of the day when something does not connect or there is something that makes us noise it is difficult to continue, I feel very sorry for her but I know that she is a great actress, I defend her as part of the acting family ”, he commented to this medium.
He said similar situations have happened to him in his career too, but context definitely plays an important role.
