Android 10 (One UI 2.0) arrives on the Galaxy S9 and S9 + in France next month

This is good news that ultimately turns to disappointment: Samsung launched the deployment of Android 10 via its One UI 2.0 interface in Europe earlier this week, and users of Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 +, two smartphones released two years ago, hoped to be able to take advantage of them in the coming days.

This will be the case for users from certain other countries, but for France, Samsung has confirmed that it has to delay the deployment. Currently, German users are already taking advantage of the update, but for France, it will therefore have to wait “during the month of February” next, says the brand.

Samsung thus encountered problems in the porting of One UI 2.0 on the two devices, implying a modification of its calendar. Android 10 is already available on the Galaxy Note 9, which shares a data sheet very close to the S9, but it seems that a last minute bug forced the South Korean manufacturer to review its copy.

If we salute the effort of Samsung regarding the porting of Android 10 to its old flagship, we regret to see the brand which has long presented itself as a model of follow-up and responsiveness regarding the deployment of new versions of Android finds itself lagging behind as much now.
