Amsterdammer who rang the doorbell with minister De Jonge again arrested on Dam Square

The 27-year-old Amsterdammer who was arrested last night after he rang the doorbell several times at the home of caretaker Hugo de Jonge in Rotterdam, was arrested again today on Dam Square in Amsterdam. He was arrested as part of a Rotterdam threat investigation.

The man said he went to ‘get a story’ yesterday and filmed his action. He was then ordered to leave the minister’s home. When it later turned out that he was still hanging out in the neighborhood, he was arrested. He was released later that night.

The same man turned out to be on Dam Square today. He was recognized by police officers and arrested. According to the Rotterdam police, he was arrested in an investigation into threats. He has been transferred to Rotterdam where he will be interrogated.
