A sharp drop in the price of wheat in the world markets

Yesterday’s grain contracts on Matif ended with a drop in prices. Wheat lost the most on CBoT – 3.9 percent.



Wheat in the contract with the delivery in March on Matif, yesterday it fell by 3.0 percent. and cost 275.75 EUR / t (1274 PLN / t). In terms of y / y, the quotations increased by 34.0%. The price of maize on the Paris stock exchange in the January contract fell by 0.7% yesterday. and amounted to EUR 242.75 / t (PLN 1122 / t), and over the last year it increased by 27.6%.

Wheat for CBoT in the March contract fell by 3.9 percent. and cost 277.78 USD / t. In y / y terms, the quotes increased by 26.1%. price corn in the contract for delivery in March on the Chicago Stock Exchange it fell by 0.8 percent. and amounted to 230.60 USD / t, and during the last year it increased by 37.9%.
