Punjab Police have released a set of seven possible avatars that Khalistani leader and fugitive Amritpal Singh may have adopted to evade arrest. The move is aimed at encouraging members of the public to help the police identify him, given that he is suspected of having changed his appearance since going on the run. Singh is the self-styled chief of Waris Punjab De and was declared a fugitive after giving police the slip on 18 March following an intense car chase through Jalandhar district. He later fled on a motorcycle and managed to evade police despite the arrest of over 100 people.
