The American School of Las Palmas (ASLP) is a co-educational institution, registered and recognized by the Ministry of Education and Culture in Spain. Students study, from kindergarten (year three) to grade 12, a North American educational program in English coordinated with the Spanish system, which applies the most effective international educational theories and practices.

They have one Curriculum Vitae academically challenging, preparing our students so that they can enter any higher education center of their choice. The multicultural and multilingual student body reflects a commitment to maintaining a caring and pluralistic environment that allows you to be positive, caring and responsible participants.

The American School of Las Palmas encourages students to become students for life following the tradition of American education. In a coordinated curriculum from kindergarten to grade 12 that emphasizes independent study, creativity, and excellence.

The school is a ecological school recognized and also a testing center for the College Board: Advanced Placement, SAT and TOEFL exams. Services include robust university guidance for universities worldwide. Students participate in community service projects, cultural exchange programs, and study abroad opportunities.

In addition, they have an anti-bullying action program. The KIVA program is designed as an anti-bullying program for schools and ASLP has been using KIVA for 3 years. KIVA provides a clear curriculum for teachers and students along with training to understand how to implement the program with fidelity. KIVA offers schools strategies to build a stronger, safer and more empathetic community for all students. KIVA is used at all grade levels at the ASLP.
