Thiruvananthapuram: The body of Ambili, who died due to burns during the evacuation process at Neyyattinkara, was cremated in the presence of Vanjanavali. Ambili was buried near the funeral home prepared by her son’s father after challenging the police. Funeral services were finally completed at 8.30pm on Tuesday night for disputes and protests.
Locals had blocked the road for four hours with Ambili’s body, demanding that the government take action to take care of the children and take action against the culprits. The bodies of Rajan and Ambali’s sons Rahul and Rajjit were stabbed on the road. The strike ended when the collector finally gave his assurance.
The DGP directed the police to look into the matter. The government will also look into the evacuation process. Rajan and Ambali’s bodies caught fire when the police removed the lighter while threatening to pour petrol on their bodies to avoid evacuation. Rajan, who died on Monday morning, was cremated in the evening.
