This poor art museum, which occupies some old Strasbourg residences, has collected the testimonies of traditional life in Alsace: decorated furniture, costumes, popular ceramics, toys, religious and profane images. Some rooms offer reconstructions of interiors characteristic of the Alsatian territory: the agricultural plain, the vineyard, the Vosges valleys, or artisan shops (forges, carpenters, etc.).
