Un man, already fined twice for non-compliance with the confinement measures, was arrested for having organized an evening in his apartment in Liège during the night from Friday to Saturday, said the prosecutor’s office of Liège.
The tenant, born in 1987, had invited several acquaintances, notably from Brussels, Antwerp and Flémalle. A total of 13 people participated in this underground party in the apartment.
Called by neighbors, the police went to the scene and also discovered laughing gas. Arrested and heard by the police, the suspect explained that he wanted to organize a party to fill the boredom.
Already verbalized
He had already been fined twice on April 15 for failing to comply with the containment measures put in place. The 30-year-old will appear before the Liège Criminal Court in an accelerated procedure.
