Almost a quarter of Ukrainians do not intend to be vaccinated – poll

Almost a quarter of Ukrainians called themselves anti-vaccinators

More than 40% of Ukrainians surveyed plan to be vaccinated against coronavirus, but almost a quarter more do not.

Almost every fourth citizen of Ukraine does not intend to be vaccinated against coronavirus, according to a study by Gradus Research, which publishes Ukraine24.

According to the survey, 12% of respondents were vaccinated with one dose, and 43% with two.

At the same time, 24% of respondents were not vaccinated and do not plan to do so. The main reasons for this decision are called – mistrust of the vaccine against COVID-19 (20%), little research of the vaccine (14%) and the danger of the vaccine (11%). 5.6% of respondents stated contraindications to vaccination, 4.9% of respondents did not believe in vaccination in general.

At the same time, 41% of those surveyed plan to be vaccinated against COVID next year.

The survey was conducted among residents of Ukrainian cities with a population of 50 thousand aged 18-60 by self-filling a questionnaire in the Gradus mobile application.

As of November 13 12 121 804 people vaccinated in Ukraine, of them 12 121 802 received one dose, 8 586 461 people were fully immunized and received two doses. A total of 20 708 263 vaccinations were carried out.
