The authorities were present at the Puerto Principe Shopping Center, exactly at local 28, which belongs to a perfumery store, after a man entered the place, drew an automatic weapon and shot at two people, one of them, the site manager.
Once the crime was committed, the man fled and left both people injured. Uniformed police officers transferred the wounded to San José Hospital, where one of them lost his life, while the other is under a reserved prognosis.
“Around 2:45 in the afternoon, in the San Andresito San José sector, inside the Shopping Center with private security, a hit man occurred. One person loses his life and one more is injured, ”said Colonel Jairo Baquero, operational commander of the Bogotá Metropolitan Police.
At this time the authorities are carrying out investigations in order to determine what happened on the afternoon of this Sunday. Members of the Sijin Police will analyze security cameras in order to identify the alleged hitman.
“An investigation is being carried out to establish the circumstances of time, manner and place in which this crime occurred,” said Baquero.
