All pregnant women can have a prenatal test from April next year to check for Edwards, Patau and Down syndrome. When the investigation into the so-called NIPT has been completed, Minister of Health Ernst Kuipers wants to make it available free of charge to anyone who wants to have such a test taken. However, many practical details still need to be filled in.
