The top scorer is reported to agree with the Bundesliga team, and can sign within a short time.
National team striker Alexander Sørloth (24) has according to Nidaros decided to sign for the German top club RB Leipzig.
Local newspapers write that they are informed from several quarters that Sørloth has made his choice.

It has previously been reported that RB Leipzig was in Trondheim this weekend to have talks with the 24-year-old.
Confirms negotiations

Sørloth senior will not even confirm whether a transfer to Leipzig is about to be completed.

Trønderen also scored the 2-0 goal in the cup final triumph against Alanyaspor. In total, he scored 33 times in all tournaments for the Turkish club. The league season ended with a second place behind Istanbul Basaksehir.
The Premier League club Crystal Palace owns Sørloth, which was originally intended to remain on loan at Trabzonspor next season as well. He was bought into the London club from Danish FC Midtjylland for more than 100 million in 2018.
He has later been loaned to both Ghent in Belgium and Trabzonspor.
Semifinalist i Champions League
RB Leipzig finished third in the Bundesliga last season, just three points behind Borusia Dortmund and Erling Braut Haaland.
The club has this summer sold its coveted top scorer, the German star striker Timo Werner, to Chelsea.
But even without Werner, RB Leipzig advanced to the Champions League semi-finals with last week’s strong 2-1 win over Atlético Madrid.
