The police suspect that the shooter who shot Ajax-hooligan Martin van de P. hung around the day before the shooting at the location in Amsterdam Southeast. The perpetrator was probably there last Wednesday between 1.55 and 2.10 p.m., the police reports in the program on Tuesday evening Investigation Requested.
Van de P. was shot at 2.10 pm on Alexander Dumaslaan in the presence of his seven-year-old daughter, whom he had just taken from school. He died of his injuries on the spot. A spokesman for the police speaks of “a particularly cold liquidation”.
The shooter is estimated to be between 20 and 25 years old and has presumably been waiting for Van de P. while he picked up his daughter from school. According to the police, the perpetrator was also at the later crime scene last Wednesday, but on that day Van de P. did not take his daughter out of school herself. The police are calling on anyone who has seen the possible perpetrator to contact them.
Van de P. had a criminal past. In 2000 he was sentenced to fifteen years in prison for shooting four men in a sex club in Haarlem.
