The city department of housing and communal services explained why such measures were taken.

– At the moment, an expert group is working there, it is necessary to check the gas supply system in order to determine the cause of the incident. In this regard, and also at the request of the residents of the microdistrict, the houses connected to one gas control point are disconnected from the gas supply. This will take up to three days. If the experts have time to work for today, the gas supply will be connected immediately, – they said in the Zhanaozen department of housing and communal services.

It is worth noting that the territory of house No. 51, where the explosion occurred, was surrounded by an iron fence for the safety of residents and in order not to interfere with the work of experts.

Recall, on April 17, in the 2nd microdistrict of Zhanaozen, in a two-entrance 12-apartment two-story residential building, presumably due to a natural gas leak, an explosion of a gas-air mixture without combustion occurred with a collapse of the entrance on an area of ​​150 square meters. Four apartments collapsed in the explosion.

Four injured and four dead, including one child, were rescued from the rubble alive by rescuers. 13 people applied for medical help, including eight children. Hospitalization was required for six victims, seven rescued were assigned an outpatient solution.

At a briefing in the CCS, the preliminary cause of the explosion of a house in Zhanaozen was announced. The explosion could have occurred due to the cotton of the gas-air mixture.
