The report by the Department of Psychiatry of the National Council of Mental Health at the Ministry of Health revealed that a fisherman convicted of killing his wife by suffocation in the marital bed in the Mutobas Center’s Burj Moghaizel village was examined by a tripartite commission of the Department of Forensic Psychiatry, where the necessary medical-psychiatric report was drawn up at the request of the Criminal Court of Fouh “Second Circle”.

The opinion of the tripartite commission, after the psychic medical examination of the convicted fisherman, found that he does not present, in the current state or at the time of the incident in question, any symptoms indicative of the existence of a mental or psychic disorder which causes him to lose or lack awareness, choice, sound will, discernment, correct judgment of matters, and knowledge of right and wrong, which makes him responsible for the charge brought against him in the case.

The tripartite committee was formed under the chairmanship of Dr. Hani Hamed Desouky, Professor of Psychiatry at Beni Suef University, and among its members Dr. Reda Abdulaziz Al-Ghamrawi, Consultant Psychiatrist, and Dr. Hassan Mahmoud Hassan , Specialist in Psychiatry, awarding the Director General of the Technical Secretariat of the Cairo Regional Mental Health Council.

The Fouh Criminal Court, “second circuit”, headed by counsel Khaled Badr El-Din, head of the court and the circuit, decided in an earlier session of the defendant’s trial to file him for examination in the forensic psychiatry department and to draw up a medical-psychological report on his condition, and on the extent of his criminal responsibility in the aforementioned case, while the court decided, today Monday, in his presence to punish him with life imprisonment, and in the civil case referring the civil case to the competent civil court.

The sentence was handed down under the presidency of Chancellor Khaled Qutb Badr Al-Din, President of the Court and of the Chamber, and the participation of advisers Hassan Muhammad Dowidar, Ahmed Othman Othman, and the secretariat of Ahmed Al-Maidani, in the events of the case no. 2580 of 2022 Crimes of the Mutobas Police Station, registered under No. 221 of 2022 Kafr El-Sheikh College.

Councilor Saud Muhammad Naguib, attorney general of the Kafr El-Sheikh Prosecutor’s Office, had referred the so-called “Ahmed MAA”, 44 years old, fisherman, resident of the village of Burj Mughizel of the Mutobas Center Criminal Court of Fuwah because on January 18, 2022 in the station Mutobas district police officer deliberately killed his wife with premeditation who had the intention and was determined to do so.

The decision to refer the convict to the Fuwah Criminal Court revealed that the defendant exploited his wife and invited her to the marriage bed by squatting over her, paralyzing her resistance, and patting her neck with both hands, pressing up of her until her soul overflows. to her innocence, intending to take her life, causing the injuries described in the anatomical report.

The first investigations, and according to the investigations by the Mutobas Police Headquarters, revealed that the convict decided to kill his wife because he suspected her behavior while he was away from home, inviting his children, one of them to go to his grandmother’s, and the ‘other to receive educational lessons, so that he could carry out his criminal plan.

Investigations revealed that the convict invited her to the marriage bed and squatted on top of her, which paralyzed her resistance, and with both hands he squeezed her neck tightly, encircling her until her soul overflowed. in his innocence.
