Taxidermist: “Got a little out of hand”

An employee of the LMU in Munich leaves an Instagram video about Corona measures – and is released for this. She is celebrated by “lateral thinkers” for her statements. Now she distances herself from the scene. However, it sticks to its fundamental criticism.

The Ludwig Maximilians University (LMU) in Munich released an employee a few days ago after she shared a video on Instagram in which she was outraged about corona measures. After it had received a lot of attention, the woman has now posted a new video. In this she says: “Everything got a little out of hand, not as I wanted.”

The media would contact her, friends and family. Since the anger video, “one unbelievable thing after the other” has happened. Even the police were with her because she had to give testimony. As the “Bild” newspaper reports, it was about calling for a demonstration. In the video, the woman says her name was used without her knowledge and she never called for a demonstration.

She apparently does not want to be co-opted by so-called “lateral thinkers” or the AfD in North Rhine-Westphalia, which had called for solidarity with her. “I have nothing to do with lateral thinkers,” said the woman aloud to “Bild”. The AfD’s action is a “cheek”. In addition, according to the newspaper, the woman distanced herself from corona deniers. “Corona is real. Corona is dangerous. There is no doubt that the coronavirus can cause serious illnesses and result in long-term damage, including death.” Good prevention and medical care are therefore important. The corona policy, however, has no long-term strategy “and destroys livelihoods”.

“I do not need money”

In addition, people are said to have collected money for them. “I don’t need any money,” says the woman who works at the pathological institute at the LMU Medical Faculty: “I’m still employed. I get my salary.” She always enjoyed doing her job. “I’ve been doing the job for seven years and I really enjoy doing it,” explains the taxidermist on her Instagram channel. She would be happy if her employer would see it that way and if she could continue to provide her service.

In the first video that the woman posted in her Instagram story, the employee in the morgue vented her anger about the corona policy. She criticized the fact that unvaccinated medical workers now have to pay for a PCR test themselves and says that only three of the 22 deaths in the morgue lockers on which she is holding the camera died of corona. “We have the emergency in Germany not because of Corona, but because of the shortage of skilled workers,” says the angry woman in the video, for example, and that the Corona vaccine stimulates blood clotting. “Do we want to help the sick? Or do we just want to force everyone to get vaccinated?” She asks.

Uni releases employees and issues a house ban

A blood clotting disorder as a possible side effect has been known for a long time with the vector vaccines against corona – according to both the Paul Ehrlich Institute and the EU Medicines Agency (EMA), however, this side effect occurs “very rarely”. The risk of developing a thrombosis as a result of a corona infection is “always higher” than the risk of developing a thrombosis as a result of the vaccination.

The LMU distanced itself “as sharply as possible from the content of the video”. According to the LMU, both PCR and rapid tests are “still free of charge for all unvaccinated and vaccinated employees of the LMU Klinikum”. The employee had been banned from the house, and according to the information, she was released with immediate effect. “A termination without notice will also be initiated.”

However, the young woman still seems to adhere to her fundamental criticism, as a further video from Tuesday evening shows. In it, she questions the contact restrictions and test rules for unvaccinated people on public holidays.
