5pm never, Mia Flynn, 28 years old, from Rhyl, in Wales, woke up after a night at a friend’s house and was “petrified“to discover that a husky-type dog” was staring at her “, relates the Daily Mail.
“I’m too scared to move in my own bed“Mia says, as she films herself and shows the huge animal relaxing next to her.
The woman quickly reconstructed her actions of the day before thanks to her videos Snapchat, in which she filmed the dog following her down the street and into her home.
Explaining how it all turned out, Mia has declared: “I went to help my friend with some crafts and painting … then we decided that three bottles of wine was a good idea. I was a little shocked when I woke up with a hangover, by a dog looking at me“.
“I was petrified that he was going to attack me. I think dogs are cute, but they’re also a bit scary. Especially a big one like that. I filmed everything on Snapchat, and that’s how I pieced together the story the next morning. I was coming home from my friend’s house after midnight when the dog started following me. He wandered down the street – (I discovered more late) that was the street he lived in, so I guess he had just come out. My mother was furious. She was in bed when I apparently landed at 2h30 in the morning to tell him “I have a new boyfriend”“.
Mia confides that it doesn’t look like her at all. “I never brought home an animal“.
Once Mia figured out what happened by retracing her steps in her story Snapchat, she shared a photo of the dog on her Facebook.
“I knew everyone would find it funny because I had so many posts on Snapchat when I woke up that morning. But I put it on Facebook to try to find the owner. The poor dog, in a stranger’s house, probably just wanted to go home“.
Fortunately, someone contacted the owner, who found the situation very funny and added Mia on Snapchat to watch the video.
“She found it hilarious. She was grateful that he was able to sleep with me“.
“I still don’t want a dog. It was fun while it lasted, I guess. He really looks like a wolf, but he was a lovable dog to be honest. I called him Toby when I had him – that’s the first name that came to my mind when I was drunk. I’m glad he’s back home safe and sound“.
